In this pic, Lea Ann and I [in the middle] are flanked by Jonathan Hansen and his wife, Lindsey. Jonathan is the Lead Pastor at Rolling Hills Church. He had just prayed for us, sending me out as a missionary with InFaith.org to mentor men and encourage pastors across America.
What happened here was taken was similar to the scene in Acts where the Apostle Paul was being called out by the Holy Spirit to minister in a broader way to expand Jesus’ presence. You can read about it in Acts 20:17-38.
In praying for us, Jonathan’s prayer was a sending prayer.
I in turn prayed a prayer a blessing on the church, the leaders, and the people; that their ministry would exponentially expand Jesus’ presence and influence. It truly was an amazing time. Rare in the life of most churches.
LIFE MULTIPLIED
When I was 30, my Pastor Cliff Stabler, invested a year with me and a few other men. Cliff modeled authentic manhood, the heart of a pastor, and how to exponentially expand Jesus’ presence on earth – namely, the Master’s plan of evangelism is one man at a time.
At this age and stage I will continue on with this ancient way of expanding Jesus’ Kingdom buy the hand crafting of disciples and encouraging them on the way.
The things which you have heard and seen in me in the presence of many, entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also. 2 Timothy 2:2
We preach Christ, warning people not to add to the Message. We teach in a spirit of profound common sense so that we can bring each person to maturity. To be mature is to be basic. Christ! No more, no less. That’s what I’m working so hard at day after day, year after year, doing my best with the energy God so generously gives me. Colossians 1:28
NEW HOME BASE
The new home base for Lea Ann and me is in south Santa Cruz County on the coast of California 90 miles south of San Francisco. It’s near a ton of our family. Together, Lea Ann and I are excited about this move and what’s next for us together in ministry. Many of you partner with us through prayer and financial support. Ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory – to make them intelligent and discerning in knowing Him personally, their eyes focused and clear, so that they can see exactly what He is calling them to do, and grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life He has for them. Pray they would have boundless strength. Ephesians 1:17-19
